Eczema is a bumpy scaly itchy rash which varies with age.  Eczema in  infants can involve any area except for the diaper area which is moist and protected.  In school age children it usually involves the skin creases.  In older children and adults it often clears  but they may continue to have sensitive skin and occasional recurrences.

Generally eczema is treated with aggressive use of  moisturizers and judicious use of topical steroids.
